One World University (OWU) is a private institute of higher education which offers four-year licentiate degrees in the areas of Pedagogy and Community Development. Both courses are offered as onsite studies and as distance learning studies. The institute applies pedagogical principles that allow students to be the driving force in their individual and collective learning.

The degree in Pedagogy qualifies the graduates to teach at the teacher training colleges and other educational institutions, and the degree in Community Development provides the students with the necessary skills to work in holistic and inclusive community development; fighting shoulder to shoulder with the people in pursuit of eradicating poverty in the country. In 2018, the institute had 130 students in pedagogy, 77 in Community Development and 460 in distance learning.
